You'll Never Know What You May Find...

My sister loves nothing better than discovering the blog of a friend or family member...and not telling them about it. I guess it's sort of the same thing as finding a diary stuffed underneath the mattress and prying open the lock to take a look at what might be inside. But a blog's not really the same thing. It's out there on the Internet, so it's fair game. You can't have any real expectation of privacy --- and besides, I think most people write, wanting some sort of audience. That's why comment features are so popular --- who doesn't love it when strangers start reading about the mundane little details and responding to it? I guess it makes you feel a little less alone --- if that's even possible.

Anyways, my sister found the blog of this guy that we met while we were in Vegas. He's a friend of a friend. (Does that sound like the start of an urban legend or what?) He flew in from California just to meet up with our friend and went out to dinner with us on our last night in Vegas.

The blog isn't particularly interesting...it was kind of sad, though, 'cause he kept writing about how lonely he felt, not having anybody comment on his posts.
